Thank you for supporting Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia by choosing to request donations in lieu of gifts for your birthday to raise funds for our cause. We have made it easy for you to fundraise on our behalf and help men and their families by partnering with Everyday Hero to provide your own fundraising webpage.

Simply click on the red button that says "Create Birthday Page Now" and follow the instructions. In just minutes you can build your own birthday fundraising webpage and approach your friends, family and colleagues for donations by emailing them the URL (the unique web link), letting them know that this year, you don't want "stuff" for your birthday, you want to support us in the fight against Prostate Cancer.

Prostate Cancer Birthdays

We are fortunate to have many passionate supporters who wish to raise funds for us. You will feel great knowing that as you celebrate another birthday, you are also helping men and their families.

Each donation is recorded on your page along with birthday messages from your donors. You can even track progress on your own "Hero Meter"!

Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

PCFA is the peak national body for prostate cancer in Australia. We are dedicated to reducing the impact of prostate cancer on Australian men, their partners, families and the wider community.

We do this by:

• Promoting and funding world leading, innovative, cutting edge research into prostate cancer
• Implementing awareness campaigns and education programs for the Australian Community, health professionals and Government
• Supporting men and their families affected by prostate cancer through evidence-based information and resources, support groups and Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurses

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Australian men and the second most common cause of male cancer deaths. Sadly, this year almost 20,000 Australian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 3,300 men will die of the disease. What is not commonly understood is that men can be diagnosed with prostate cancer as early as in their forties.

For more information about prostate cancer, speak with your doctor, contact PCFA on free call 1800 22 00 99, or visit www.prostate.org.au.
