When twins Mark and Darren were both diagnosed with prostate cancer, they naturally had many questions.

How did this happen? What are the treatment options?  What should we expect after surgery? What does this diagnosis mean for our sons and grandson?

Sadly, without access to a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse in their local area, the brothers found themselves with nowhere to turn to get the answers they desperately needed.

You may think their situation is unusual, but 2 in 3 men facing a diagnosis of prostate cancer do not have access to the life-changing support of a Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse.

This unacceptable situation needs to change.

A Prostate Cancer Specialist Nurse would have supported Mark and Darren every step of the way. From diagnosis, through treatment and then to help them deal with the significant after-effects of their treatment.

Our specialist nurses can also help men access local support groups. These groups provide a safe space for men facing prostate cancer to share their feelings and fears with people who understand exactly what they’re going through.

Please, will you give a gift today to help more men like Darren and Mark have the specialist support they desperately need?
