Welcome to the inaugural Outback 4WD Adventure!

A team of 4WD driving enthusiasts are taking on the Australian Outback in support of Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

This outback adventure will start in Cobar, in Far Western NSW on the morning of Sunday 22nd September 2018 and travel through iconic sites, such as Tibooburra, Innamincka, Birdsville, Maree, and the Flinders Ranges, before finishing up in Broken Hill on 29th September. Undoubtedly, the highlight will be tackling “Big Red”, the biggest gnarliest sand dune in the Simpson Desert, standing 30 metres tall and throwing down the gauntlet to any 4WD purist.

Vic Widman, well known Australian author of many Australian outback publications and recognised as one of Australia’s leading 4WD driving experts has planned the event route and will accompany the group on this weeklong outback adventure.

Participants will enjoy great outback roads, unbelievable scenery, visit many outback towns, enjoy sensational country food and hotel accommodation organised every night, whilst raising funds to support prostate cancer research – a disease that affects one in eight blokes today.
